Harlösa Bug

La condivisione, bene ecco un ottimo esempio di condivisione delle informazioni tra amici Radioamatori.

Avevo avuto modo di raccogliere delle prime informazioni circa questo tasto svedese denominato

Harlösa.

Grazie all'aiuto di Peter DK7JC e di Herman VK2IXV sono riuscito a scambiae diverse info su questo famoso Bug, ed è così che alla fine si sono aggiunte delle importanti informazioni che completano il puzzle "Harlösa".

Prima di tutto chi era Mr. Sture Jönsson ?

Mr. Sture nacque nel 1905 e morì nel 1974. Ha ottenuto il nominativo radioamatoriale di SM7XY nell'anno 1935, è stato anche presidente dell' HAM Radio Club di Växjö.

Mr. Sture ha costruito diversi tipi di tasti, un modello verticale, e dei bug tra il periodo 1946-1949 ed anche un paddle verso i primi anni 50°.

Mr. Sture era conosciuto dai suoi amici Radioamatori della cittadina svedese di Växjö, dove Lui viveva.

Dopo la seconda guerra mondiale Mr. Sture fù stimolato a costruire i suoi primi Bug da alcuni amici OM, questo a causa della difficoltà di importare gli stessi tasti dagli USA oltre che per gli alti costi di importazione.

Sture ha anche collaborato con una società, la Radio-Laboratories sita nella città di Harlosa che si è dedicata alla vendita dei suoi tasti.

La fama di questa prodzuione crebbe al punto da venir richiesta anche in ambito lavorativo, tant'è che la Marina Reale Svedese preferì nelle sue dotazione, questo tasto, in quanto poteva operare a velocità inferiori rispetto al Vibroplex, privileggiando la qualità di trasmissione rispetto alla velocità.L'appellativo Harlosa deriva proprio dall'ubicazione del dealer, la Radio-Laboratories appunto.

La ottima reputazione di Sture come ottimo artigianato si diffuse rapidamente in tutta la Svezia, ricevendo diverse richieste da Om locali e cosi Mr. Sture si stima abbia prodotto tra i 100 ed i 200 Bug nella su "officina".

Officina che era posta proprio sotto la sua abitazione.

Come si presenta l'Harlösa-bug :

Ha il frame a forma di T, dove viene fissato il pivot centrale del pendolo, la base di forma rettangolare ha il caratteristico colore verde oliva.

Al di sotto della base vi sono i tre piedini di appoggio in gomma di colore rosso, le strisce di contatto formate da metallo piatto con l'isolamento solitamente di colore rosso.

Ha l'asta di corto circuito con un pomello cilindrico in backelite nera.

Non ha la targa di riconoscimento e non ha neanche i numeri di serie.

Le filettature utilizzate sull'hardware sono di tipo Europe (DIN).

Presenta una molla per la formazione dei punti con un design unico ed innovativo a forma di elisse.

Questa conformazione permette una maggiore rigidità alla molla stessa, dando al tasto una perfetta formazione dei punti, senza sbavature.

L'operatività del tasto e notevole è presenta un ampio range sulla velocità di trasmissione.

Mr. Sture ha prodotto 3 diversi modelli di Harlösa bug.

Anche se le differenze sono minime, per completezza le riporterò sotto alcune foto gentilmente fornitemi da Mr. Herman VK2IXV.

Mr. Sture ha sempre mantenuto un profilo basso ed ha lavorato a tempo pieno per la Società Nazionale Telegrafica e Telefonica del Paese.

Nel 1972 è stata fatta una registrazione radio a cura della Radio Nazionale Svedese dove Mr. Sture ha raccontato della sua vita in generale, ma non specificamente delle sue realizzazioni di bug.

Mr. Sture fu intervistato per la precisione da Göran Nilsson SM7AYB, Radioamatore che operava per la radiodiffusione nazionale Svedese.

Sotto riporterò per dovere e cortesia tutte le persone che mi hanno permesso sia in modo diretto che indiretto di raccogliere le informazioni permettendomi di riscostruire l'esatta storia di Mr. Sture Jönsson e dei suoi Bugs.

I had the opportunity to have initial information with the help of Mr. Peter DK7JC, then just yesterday I was talking with Mr. Herman VK2IXV about my info of Harlösa bug, and Herman return to me some info add to complete now the .

First of all, who was Mr. Sture Jönsson?

Mr. Sture was born in 1905 and died in 1974. He got the name of amateur SM7XY in 1935.

Mr. Sture has built several types of keys, a vertical stright model, and bugs in the period 1946-1949 as well as product a paddle to the early 50th.

Mr. Sture was known by his friends of Amateur Swedish town of Växjö, where he lived.

After World War II, Mr. Sture encouraged to build his first Bug due to the difficulty to import the same Bug from the U.S.A. and the high cost of importing.

He also collaborated with a company, "Radio-laboratories" located in the city of Harlosa who helped Mr. Sture to sell its bugs in the workplace, hence the name of Harlösa-bug.

His reputation for excellent craftsmanship quickly spread throughout Sweden, having several requests from local HAM and so Mr. Sture is estimated to have produced between 100 and 200 of the Bug "workshop" is placed just below his home.

How does the Harlösa bug:

Has the pivot axis which maintains in T-shaped, the base has the characteristic olive green color, has 3 rubber feet of red color, the rod of a short circuit, under the base, has the contact strips formed from metal plate with the isolation of red.

Has no plaque and don't even have serial numbers.

Mr. Sture did 3 different kind models of Harlösa bugs, although the differences are minimal, for the completeness will report below some photos kindly provided to me by Mr. Herman VK2IXV.

Mr. Sture has always maintained a low profile and has worked full time for the National Society of Telegraph and Telephone of Sweden.

In 1972 he was made a radio recording by the Swedish National Radio where Mr. Sture has written about his life in general, but not specifically of his accomplishments bugs.

Mr. Sture was interviewed for accuracy by Göran Nilsson SM7AYB, Amateur who worked for the Swedish National Broadcasting.

Below will report for duty and courtesy all the HAM friends that have helped me to both directly and indirectly collect information allowing me to reconstruction the exact story of Mr. Sture Jönsson and his Bugs.

Come si vede nella seguente foto, queste erano le condizioni del bug al suo arrivo.

Certo le condizioni erano così già dall'asta, tant'è che Peter gentilmente oltre a darmi le info sulal storia del bug, mi aveva fatt onotare il difetto sconsigliandomi l'acquisto.

Non si potrebbe dargli torto, però mi sono chiesto, ma quanti Harlösa mi ricapiteranno a tiro ?

E' possibile riparare il pivot e riportare il braccio in asse senza danni ?

Cero gli interrogativi erano tutti validi e si doveva tener conto della mal'augurata ipotesi che durante le operazioni di riallineamento l'asse, o meglio il pivot centrale si poteva anche spezzare irrimediabilmente, ma così, ne ero quasi certo.

Questa è un operazione che già avevo avuto modo di praticare su altri bug e devo dire sempre con successo, rimaneva solo l'incognita, diversità di materiali utilizzati ,quindi diversità di comportamenti e di risultato finale, ma per fortuna tutto è andato bene.

Ma allora come opera questo Harlösa ?

Devo dire che opera molto bene, ha una manipolazione piena e calibrata, ha una eccellente genrazione dei punti.
