L’angolo dedicato a

Martin Odenbach DK4XL .

I dedicate this page to my dear friend Martin.

Collector, passionate of history of keys and great players of  historical and famous telegraph keys .

I had the pleasure of meeting Martin while searching  some information about a limited little Italian bug , from this episode it start a great relationship.   Over time , to my surprise I discovered that Martin is not only a deep knowledge of the "world telegraph " , but also has a particular fondness towards the Vibroplex production .  Don’t is a simple  coincidence that the only key Vibroplex Patent- 457 was that found by Martin a few years ago.

Prior to this sensational discovery Martin had always assumed that the-457 patent by Horace Martin had been relegated only in the patent application that Horace Martin introduced the Patent Office over a hundred years ago.

Thanks to Martin now this project has become a reality for us .

The Patent- 457now is in the hands of Mr. Randy Coleman KN6W .

Martin explained to me that the Patent-457 right well that " rest " in his native location, the United States of America.

Say no more to his wisdom.

He explained with particular simplicity , the complex operation of the Autoplex , the first key electromechanical patented by Horace Martin and over this many, many other things.

Martin with his explanations manages to make even the most complex concepts simple , ” a unique natural dowry “.

Bellow I will explain some of his faithful reproductions of great Vibroplex keys .

I take this opportunity to give in publicly my special thank to Martin to her great courtesy and willingness.

Under you will see my first " Odenbach ."

Up right or "Wirechief key"

A faithful reproduction of Martin Up-right, made by Martin Odenbach DK4XL.

Up side there is also a photo of the Original Up right in comparison with this beautifull copy.

Martin DK4XL didn't want to nickel the hardware to mantein the differences from the original, but if don't consider this detail, the resemblance is remarkable.

Like two water drops.

Under you will see a photo sequence of this key.
