S-600 o Super Stream Speed

Il modello "Super Stream-speed" è stato l'unico bug che Teodor McElroy aveva detto alcuni anni prima di non voler mai costruire per via del lucido della cromatura che con il suo bagliore dava fastidio agli occhi, evidentemente non si ricordava di questo fatto e quando qualcuno inzio a darglielo notare, McElroy ha scrisse in un volantino del marzo 1938. " che S-600, è stato costruito con una cromatura che dava una sfumatura bluastra per evitare l'abbagliamento degli occhi".

In pratica il tasto venica rifinito con un base di bicromato di potassio o "nichel placcato"

Questo tasto è disponibile in due modelli, il S-600-PC con i contatti di platino e il S-600-SC con contatti in argento. 

Vi sono poi tre varianti legate ai fori sulla base per il fissaggio del tasto :, nessuno, due e tre fori. 

l'S-600 è un tasto definito scarso, quindi se vi dovesse passare sotto gli occhi, evitate di farvelo sfuggire.

Il tasto qui sotto è di modello S-600-SC a due fori.

Trovato con la sua custodia originale, dove al suo interno vi è una targhetta dorata con il nominativo del negozio che l'ha venduta (Luce.Parkwood - Kansas city MO.)

l tasto è in ottima forma e sembra come uscito nuovo dal negozio, direi un ottimo ritrovamento.

In virtù del suo ottimo stato, l'ho riposto al momento, rimandando qualsiasi prova al futuro.

The model "Super Stream-speed" was the only bug that Teodor McElroy had said some years before to never build because the shiny chrome that with its glow bothered eyes, evidently did not remember this fact and when someone BEGINNING to give him notice, McElroy wrote in a leaflet of March 1938. "that S-600, was built with a chrome plating that gave a bluish tinge to avoid the glare of the eyes."

In practice the key wasa finished with a base of chrome or "nickel-plated"

This Bug is available in two models, the S-600-PC with the contacts of platinum and the S-600-SC with silver contacts.

There are then three variants linked to the holes on the base for securing the key: none, two, and three holes.

The S-600 is a Bug called poor, so if you were to pass under the eyes, do not let you escape. The key below is the model S-600-SC with two holes on the base.

I've found with its orignal case, where inside there is a golden plate with name of the sold store ( Luce.Parkwood - Kansas City MO.) the key is in great shape and looks like new out of the store, I would say a great discovery.

By virtue of its optim means inconceivable, I put at the time, postponing any evidence to the future.
