Vibroplex Champion - 1940 

 

Il Champion è stato creato come versione semplificata ed economica.

Si nota che il frame ed il braccio "piatto" sono quello già utilizzati nel Lightning Bug, differisce da quest'ultimo per il dumper semplificato a forma di "I", perde inoltre la leva di chiusura del circuito un circuito.

 

Lo ritengo un ottimo semiautomatico che non ha nulla a che invidiare ai vari Vibroplex più accessoriati, è una chiave Zen che fa bene il suo mestiere, certamente da consigliare come miglior rapporto qualità prezzo, per questo è stato uno dei modelli più venduti nel corso del tempo.

 

 

L'evoluzione del modello, nulla da indicare circa l'hardware, mentre la finitura della base è stata nera crackle con il primo modello del 1940,  a metà degli anni Cinquanta il colore della base cambia in grigio, intorno al 1980 e per un breve periodo, al colore grigio vengono prodotti anche alcuni Champion con colori marrone e Sienna beige.

Il Champion esce fuori produzione sul finire degli anni '80.

The evolution of the model, nothing to indicate about the hardware, while the finish of the base was black crackle with the first model of 1940, in the mid-fifties the color of the base changes in gray, around 1980 and for a short period, to the gray color are also produced some Champion with brown and Sienna beige colors.

The Champion goes out of production in the late 80s.
